72-4 Sergeant Scott Gries
Sergeant Gries has been with the sheriff’s office since 2007. He has previous experience as a police officer with the Johnston PD and the Carlisle PD in Iowa. Deputy Gries has an A.S. degree in Police Science from Western Iowa Technical College and is a graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. Deputy Gries is a certified D.A.R.E. Instructor and a Firearms Instructor. Deputy Gries is also responsible for the Sex Offender Registry, the speed trailer and other general patrol and jail duties.
