Daylight Burglary at Omaha Depot

Pair of Colored Guys Rob Omaha Depot Yesterday Afternoon

The cash drawer of the Omaha depot was tapped yesterday noon for the sum of $23.80.  The burglars broke through a window, while the depot force was at dinner.

Sheriff Lowry apprehended the negroes at the city light plant and secured the money.

The pair were placed in the county jail.

 

 

Inflation Calculator:  $23.80 in 1922 would be the equivalent of $292.10 in 2007.
